bCompany - Aeden Fruits International Pvt Ltd Location xe2x80x93 Ernakulam, Kerala Industry xe2x80x93 Export & Import (Fresh fruits) Job Summary: - Import Export Manager is a crucial role, ably handled with responsibility and professionalism to ensure error -free documents and the storage of all paper and digital files of the company. Serving as the main contact when retrieving specific documentation and answering any employee questions about document retrieval by handling short- and long-term storage of important company data and information. Roles & Responsibilities: - Ensure error -free shipping documents and various documents related to the company. Establishing and maintaining relationships with fruit growers, suppliers, buyers, wholesalers, and distributors both domestically and internationally. Overseeing and coordination throughout the Import & Export process with the stakeholders from the point of placing orders until the point of sale. Coordinating the transportation of fresh fruits from the point of origin to the destination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards which involves selecting appropriate shipping methods, negotiating freight rates, and managing documentation. Regular tracking of air and sea shipments and reporting to the management on the shipmentxe2x80x99s arrivals. And if necessary, communicating with the steamer agents on delays or change in dates of expected arrival of the shipments. Maintaining accurate records of import/export transactions, including contracts, invoices, shipping documents, and compliance certificates. Ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date to facilitate smooth customs clearance Ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, including customs documentation, permits, licenses, tariffs, and trade agreements. Communicating effectively with the outbound suppliers through Emails or Phone calls round the clock if needed. Handling the daily coordination of the inbound logistics activities. Timely coordinating and support with the customs house agents throughout the shipment clearance process. Drafting of various business letters, bank letters, etc. The Issuance of cargo and container insurance from the online portal Annual filing of FSSAI and IEC renewal matters Provide Administrative assistance. Responsible for filing, scanning, faxing, composing reports, conducting research and data entry. Core skills: - The ability to learn and adapt quickly. Listen and communicate effectively. Exceptional analytical skills Proficiency in typing Educational Qualification: - College degree (Any stream), PG Diploma, Master degree Experience Level: - At least 7 years minimum experience is Import Export industry / Customs clearing brokers / shipping line or forwarding companies.
