Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences. ### This position reports to Global Product & Technology Manager### Your role and responsibilities Identifying, evaluating and executing research and development plans for advanced process control and process optimization solutions portfolio within PI Digital Business line for global process industries customers Working directly on development tasks; providing technical leadership, coordinating with other resources and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets Working with product portfolio managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects, digital project implementation Advanced Process Control (APC) software products Planning and executing project activities with local and remote teams Capturing customer requirements, market and competition information in Advanced Process Control and Process Optimization domain Providing technical support to regional teams & local units and ensure availability of support and training material for relevant resources in R&D, support, engineering, marketing and sales as required### Qualifications for the role • Ph.D. degree in engineering discipline, preferably in chemical engineering, electrical/electronics or computer science with major in process control, model predictive control, system identification and optimization• More than 2 years or IIT /NIT freshers with Ph.D. having experience on controls and optimization• Good to have controls and optimization, algorithms experience• Hands-on experience with programming languages/ tools e.g., Python, R, MATLAB platform, preferably interacting with industrial process data• Proficient in Control Theory, Model Identification & Optimization algorithms (both Linear/NL)• Application domain knowledge in process industries such as mining, cement, pulp & paper and other continuous and or batch process### More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
