JOB DESCRIPTION1)Regularly gets updated with compliances pertaining to Indian customs andshippingindustry2)Manage a team that prepares various internationalshippingand customs documents such as declaration documentation.3) Regular contact with Liners / Freight Forwarders, communicating cargo despatch information.4)Work closely with customers to ensure all deliveries are prepared in accordance with thecustomers requirements and all documentation is prepared correctly.5)Providing strategic logistics advice internally to ensure the most cost-effective modes oftransport are being used to meet delivery deadlines.6)Resolve any issues, which could result in the shipments being delayed as well as manageboth internal and external customers if delays do occur.7) Customer service is a vital part of the Import Analysts role so as to maintain good relationships and to also help develop partnerships on behalf of the company.8) You will be expected to maintain both administrative and accounting records on behalf of the company, which should be in accordance with company policy as well
