Experience: 3 - 7 years | No. Of Position: 3Purpose of Position: The Sr. Automation Developer Automation associates will be responsible for Design, implement Automation testing framework and develop automation test scripts for Gilbarco products. This position demonstrates a hands- on approach to automated process of software verification for timely delivery of high quality solutions. 1. Key Responsibilities:Should be able to design automation testing Frameworka. Data Driven b. Keyword Drivenc. Hybridd. RIDE Must have hands on experience on scripting using Python.Design and develop automated test tools.Identify reusable functions and create function libraries in Python.Including Random data generation to be entered in the formsBatch file creation to run the Automated Tests overnight and in iterations.Automation test results analysis and logging of failed results in JIRA after the script is executedFamiliarity with version control tools Clear case, SVN, Share- Point.Participate in project, specification, and design reviews to ensure on- time delivery.Design and develop automation plans based on input requirements and technical specifications. Implement and maintain detailed concise test plans.Define, implement and follow coding standards/ naming conventions in Test automation.Working closely with the QA Manager and test architect, assist in developing, organizing, and maintaining QA methodologies and actively engage in rolling out QA organization improvements to projects.Initiate and contribute to improvements in test productivity to include test coverage analysis and optimization for systems under test.Partner with technical staff to isolate and debug defects early in life cycle.Gain extensive knowledge of Gilbarco product software.Review documentation (user manuals, installation instructions etc.).Develop and execute test scripts.Track software defects to closure.Gain extensive knowledge of test tools (simulators, serial test etc.).Own complete deliverables for a product module, product line and process.2. RelationshipsReports to: Asst. Lead SQAThis position will interface with the following: Works as team member that may include other SQA Engineers, Software Developers, Architects, Principal Engineers and Program Managers.Co- ordinate with Team leads, development lead and engineers, marketing and production/ quality team.Interface with Product Support.Interfaces with Customer and Vendors.Interfaces with Third Party Development teams.3. Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have Graduation/ Diploma: B.E. / B.Tech / MCAPost- Graduation: M.Tech/ MCAManagement :Other preferred courses/ Degree: Certifications Required: Java/ python/ vbscript language Certification.Total Experience in years: 3 7 Years of experience.Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have Domain (POS) Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in CS/ ME/ EE with an experience level of 4- 6 years.Experienced in development for at least 3 years in VB/ JAVA (any languages).Experience with scripting skills using python, Java & VB- Scripting.Experience with function library creation skills for the functions used while scripting.Experience in scripting to drive tests on the hardware.Experience in embedded domain for test automation.Experience with POS and Payment systems automationExcellent computer skills (Windows, Excel, Outlook, etc).Knowledge about the Databases SQL Server, Oracle, Sqllite, Postgres.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Solid interpersonal skills.Fuel industry experience is a plus.4.
