FIS is looking for a Product Analyst role to join our Merchant Solutions division in Indore, India.What you will be doing

  • Develops and enhances processes that facilitate value creation from concept to cash
  • Runs portfolio analytics through automation. Should have knowledge in reporting requirements, MIS, Dashboards etc.
  • Work with product management, stakeholders, peers and teams to define strategic plans and objectives for the Portfolio operation & reporting needs
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company and in some cases the payments industry
  • Serves as an internal champion for the portfolio operations process bringing stakeholders on board and driving alignment
  • Assesses the impact of the portfolio process and recommends changes to improve the impact the team has on delivering value for the organisation
  • Produce high quality and regular reporting to relevant stakeholders on all key initiatives
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies would be added advantage
What you bring:Knowledge / Experience and Skills 3 years and up experience as a Product Analyst / Project Management Analyst / Portfolio Analyst Role Hands on experience in advanced excel, SharePoint and Power BI
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an out-of-the-box thinker, demonstrating high levels of initiative and integrity
  • Always curious and has the intellectual agility to learn quickly, adapt to change and enjoy tackling challenges
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Must be intellectually curious and a strong problem solver
  • Comfortable working with people across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Participates in stakeholder meetings and analyzes product needs to determine technical requirements
  • May be responsible for developing or executing advanced reports, Pivots and Dashboards in excel
  • Should have the capability to work with stakeholders and elicit specific expectations in terms of expected outcomes regarding automation in a quantifiable manner
Skillset requirements
  • Expert MS Excel automation using macros
  • Expert on SharePoint 2-3 years (views, administration, flows)
  • Knowledge in Power Automate (Flow), Power BI, and tableau
  • PPM / Agile tools working knowledge (Plainview, CA PPM, Rally)
  • Benefit management process and implementation
  • Performance management process and implementation
  • Experience in Financial data modeling and analysis
  • Proven experience providing independent judgment and discretion
  • Proven experience working independently under general instructions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to grasp concepts quickly.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to execute effectively within a team.
  • Team player, time management skills & ability to prioritize
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Working experience with product-based technology company
  • Portfolio/ Project management experience (2-3 years minimum)
  • Experience working in Agile /Scaled agile methodology
  • Payments experience in merchant processing in product or program management
  • Prior experience in fintech, payments, or banking industries
Added bonus if you have:
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
  • Knowledge of Payment industry.
  • Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
