SSGM Boston are migrating operational support functions from our Boston base out to India (Bangalore and Hyderabad) forming our captive environment.We are staffing the captive with a new workforce ranging from the AVP level (Senior Manager) down through Team Leads (Assistant Managers), Senior Associates and Associate 2s.The position will be responsible for the daily tasks and controls.The major responsibilities will be to:Daily activities include loan and loan return processing, mark to market reconciliations, executing cash movements, monitoring and resolving failing returns and process exceptions throughout the day.Agrees daily collateral margin, coordinates instructions to deliver/receive collateral with brokers and reconciles daily net cash movements for Fed and DTC transactions.Confirms end of day re-pricing and money movements with brokers and reconciles net cash collateral activity in a timely manner.Complete daily EOD balancing, ensuring market activity is correctly reflected in the firms books and records (DML).Assist in driving various firm and team initiatives including Operational Efficiencies and Controls, improving the risk and control environment and maintaining procedures.Job Specifications :Level of Education/ Specific Qualifications:Bachelors degree4-5 years of experience in the finance industry, familiar with securities lending activitiesSkills and Experience - interpersonal, numerical, problem-solving, analytical, etc.We need candidates who have:Analytical, ability to solve complex problemsAttention to detailEffective communicationVery well organizedRequired Competencies - motivation, team skills, ability to work under pressure, etc.Highly motivated, with the ability to multi-taskWorks well under pressure and thrives in a deadline driven environmentTeam player with the ability to work independentlyFocus on mitigating risks and controlsExperience with Excel, Access DB a plus
