BMC AMI Capacity and Cost portfolio increases availability, predicts capacity bottlenecks before they occur, and optimizes mainframe software costs that can consume 30-50 percent of the mainframe budget.Primary Roles and Responsibility:
    • We are seeking an Application Developer to join a highly motivated team responsible for the development and maintenance of innovation for mainframe capacity and cost management.
    • As an Application Developer at BMC, you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and implementing software applications based on customer requirements.
    • In addition, you will be working with a Quality Assurance team in the final quality validation of your coding assignments, as well as working with the Customer Support team to help track down and resolve customer issues.
    Qualifications:
    • This position requires 6+ years of experience designing and implementing application-level database systems
    Required Skills:
    • Strong experience with Microsoft .NET preferred
    • Strong experience with current versions of Angular
    • Strong experience with Visual Studio and Eclipse
    • Strong knowledge of SQL and non-SQL database technologies.
    • Knowledge of web-services and Service-Oriented Architectures.
    • Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
    • Experience working under Agile methodology.
    • You must have strong diagnostics, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
    • You must be motivated, to think and work independently as well as within a team, and have strong communication skills.
    • You must have the ability to create, write, and execute test plans, and to work closely with Quality Assurance.
    Desired Skills:
    • Strong experience with current versions of Angular
    • Experience with the IBM z/OS mainframe operating system is a plus.
    • Mathematical background in statistical data analysis and processing is a plus.
