Job Description

  • Testing PeopleSoft Functionality for applications - Payroll North America / PeopleSoft HCM - Version 9.2
  • Functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft Payroll North America / Peoplesoft Human Capital Management
  • Testing file-based integrations
  • Excellent testing documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to think through and execute end-to-end scenarios.
  • Translate from business requirements to underlying technical details / functional details. Should be able to understand the business requirements and design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
  • Decent database knowledge and ability with SQL. Oracle specific syntax is handy.
  • Use of testing tools like HP ALM and UFT
  • Responsible for delivery of the project with good quality / strategy / approach
  • Responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenence/Testing)
  • Be flexible and collaborate with the teams for meeting the delivery timelines and producing quality results from testing point of view
  • Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
  • Excellent data analysis skills.
  • Excellent business communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Identify and investigate issues found during testing.
  • Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
