Job Description

Role/Department Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, develop and implement new systems to enhance the FactSet product
  • Manage and monitor all systems to ensure stability, security and performance
  • Analyze system requirements and develop solutions to restraints
  • Serve as a contact to troubleshoot, debug, and tune various systems related issues
  • Provide support and respond to systems related engineering requests and incidents
  • Other duties as assigned

Highly Desired Skills

  • Experience in administration of Windows Server 2008 R2/2012/2012 R2/2016
  • Should have strong knowledge in PowerShell scripting
  • Experience in Active directory, group policy management.
  • Good knowledge in BigFix patching
  • Experience in solving technical systems problems safely and quickly
  • Good knowledge in HP, Dell server hardware
  • Good knowledge in storage (array controllers, RAID types, logical volume management, SAN)
  • Good knowledge in network topology and distributed system concepts
  • Good knowledge of systems maintenance procedures
  • Ability to create automation to manage public cloud infrastructure lifecycle
  • Experience with AWS/Azure public cloud services
  • Good to have Citrix knowledge
  • Having Hyper - V experience will be added advantage.
  • Ability to produce high quality documentation
  • Self - disciplined and highly motivated
