Job Description

    RDP is a leading Indian computing brand for Design & Manufacture of Computing Devices like Laptop PC, Desktop PC, Tablet PC, All in One PC, Servers and Workstations. We have our presence across India and are catering to the increasing demand of the Indian Product in the IT Hardware segment.We are looking for SW Support Engineer-L1 to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs. The responsibilities include resolving hardware issues, network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. You will use screen sharing and other similar applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues.Responsibilities:
    • Research and identify solutions to hardware, network and software related issues.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration and close the ticket within SLA.
    • Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
    • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.
    • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until theyve solved a technical issue.
    • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
    • Refer to internal databases or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
    • Ensure all issues are properly logged.
    • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
    • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
    Requirements:
    • Education: Graduation degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
    • Experience: 2 to 3 years of Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, SW Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
    • Age: Minimum 25 Years to Maximum 35 Years.
    • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
    • English and Hindi fluent communication is mandatory.
    • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
    • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.
    • Immediate joiner is preferred.
