Your responsibilities: As the Global Xpend Data & Process Specialist - you will have to Develop specialist knowledge on all reportable spend data, providing consultative support to the Affiliates and contribute to the execution of transparency processes and practices. Give feedback on data issues to relevant Affiliate. Working with the team of other data analysts and managers, support affiliates with specific data and system process questions Work with other teams in Novartis (customers, IT, Finance and sourcing) to ensure data completeness and resolve issuesHandle, respond and process requests and queries in relation to system functionality, problems/ issues identified, request for support and training, etc. Facilitate problem resolution through coordination and escalation, monitor assigned problems to ensure adequate and timely resolution. Identify, analyze and documents problem trendsDiagnose and identify nature and criticality of requests, able to apply guidelines as applicable. Develop data validation methods including automatic checks and data review processes to be adopted by Affiliates to accelerate the report approval process Conduct regular data quality checks on captured spend data including analyzing business objects spend reports andAct as the first point of escalation for data & reporting related issues, provide analytical support handling complex support issues. Support the development of dashboards and KPIs to for management reporting and insight into the dataWhat you ll bring to the roleEffective implementation & tracking of service adoption metrics Strength of customer relationships and high levels engagementCustomer satisfaction scores meet defined targetTimely, accurate and complete disclosure of Transfer of Values for customersMinimum requirementsDesirable requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Management, Information Management or related field2- 6 years prior experience as Data and/ Process analyst; preferably with finance and data management support experience. Good fluency in English Strong interpersonal, customer relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills Preferable to have experience of the Global Transparency CodesGood knowledge of the Finance data and tools like SAP BI, FICO & MM. Strong Excel and SQL skills preferable Highly self- motivated and able to work effectively with different divisions and senior stakeholders Strong business results- focus & with proven ability to plan, reassess priorities in order to meet tight deadlines Demonstrated experience in translating global processes into workable day to day operational work plansComfortable dealing with ambiguity with a flexible approach & effective dealing high levels of multi- taskingDesirable to have understanding of Pharma business including its regulatory environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills with ability to develop and deliver high quality presentationsWhy consider Novartis750 million.
