In particular, we are looking for Software Developers to join our UltraDNS SaaS product team. UltraDNS delivers managed DNS Services for thousands of customers around the globe via our world- wide distributed infrastructure. Is this youTakes ownership Demonstrates initiative Drives for continual improvement Curious - investigates new technologies Doesnt accept the status quo What you will do at Neustar as an UltraDNS Software Developer: Deliver value to our customers and do everything necessary to achieve this Develop Services or Products as part of an Agile (Scrum/ Kanban) team Write code (Java mostly but also, Python, and PHP), design, test, and collaborate to get that code into production as we migrate to a DevOps model Automate everything - from building (Gradle and Jenkins/ Cloudbees), testing (JUnit, Cucumber), and deploying (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform) services Work on Web and Mobile User Interfaces and REST APIs that connect to SQL (Oracle) and noSQL databases Work in Linux on Amazon Web Services Measure health and performance of the services you help build. Get involved in end to end application development from Requirements to production support. Continuously learn new concepts and technologies and share with your team and the greater Neustar community Leverage and contribute to Neustars evolving shared infrastructure Make things better every day Qualifications/ Education Requirement Four year degree in IT, Computer Science or related field 9 years experience developing enterprise software and services Demonstrated experience as a lead designer on a high- volume, scalable system In- depth knowledge of Linux, Java, the JVM, and third- party Java libraries as well as other dynamic programming languages such as Python Experience designing writing RESTful web services Behavior driven development experience using Cucumber is desired Knowledge of DNS protocol and Networking is preferred Know: Java 8, Spring, Angular, Javascript, jQuery, CSS and TDD(Junit, karma) RDMS DB Source control, build automation What Microservices are What it means to build and deploy an application in a Cloud environment How to scale an application Issues with working with distributed systems and data Good to have noSQL Deployment automation (AWS Cloud formation) Queuing systems ( Kafka, RabbitMQ) Understanding of server- side CSS pre- processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS Neustar does not accept unsolicited resumes from external firms or agencies.
