    Platform Technical Account ManagerPosting Location : Location BR-RemotePosting date 1 day ago(2/21/2022 4:06 AM)Job ID 94301 Workday ID R-022247 About the job Work closely with customers to gain an understanding of their IT infrastructure, internal processes, and business needs and help identify relevant trends throughout the industry. The Red Hat Global Customer Success team is looking for an experienced, enterprise-level engineer to join us as a Platform Technical Account Manager in Brazil, preferably in Sao Paulo. In this role, you will work with a small set of key enterprise customers to provide architectural guidance and implementation advice for the Red Hat Infrastructure Portfolio to meet their business needs. This is not a sales role. As a Platform Technical Account Manager, you will provide a premium-level engagement that builds, maintains, and grows long-lasting customer loyalty by tailoring technical support to customer environments, facilitating collaboration with other vendors, and advocating on their behalf. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do
    • Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent issues
    • Gain an understanding of customer technical infrastructure and environment, hardware, and offerings
    • Partner closely with Red Hat Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to debug, test, and resolve issues
    • Provide advice and guidance to customers about their current and future Red Hat offerings
    • Learn new technologies quickly, including topics like container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, and microservices on container platforms
    • Create documentation regarding customer issues and technical details on how to resolve them
    • Manage and grow customer relationships by delivering attentive, relationship-based support
    • Travel occasionally to visit regional customers, following Red Hat s COVID-19 guidelines
    • Serve as the customer advocate within Red Hat
    What you will bring
    • 5+ years of Linux or UNIX system administration experience
    • Prior experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization
    • Technical knowledge of the Linux kernel and Linux file system
    • Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships by delivering proactive, relationship-based support
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to convey complex information to customers clearly and concisely
    • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with an eye for detail
    • Direct experience with a variety of hardware vendors
    • Bachelors degree in a technology-related discipline, preferably computer science or engineering
    • Previous knowledge of some technologies like Ansible, Satellite, and Insights
    • Experience working in system management, cloud, or server virtualization is a plus
    • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) qualification is a plus
