We work on the premise that our experiences are consumer grade and showcase the best of the Microsoft technology and user experience stack.The Incentive Compensation Engineering team within CSEO builds engineering tools and systems for the Worldwide Incentive Compensation group enabling them to manage the incentive compensation programs for over 25,000 sales professionals around the world. You will be leading the Incentive Compensation Engineering PM team. As a PM Leader you will identify, document, prioritize, and communicate the work that our engineering teams need to deliver based on quantifiable value to Microsoft. Core job responsibilities include:

  • Driving strategic insight to industry best practices, trending and benchmarking, and market research;
  • Leading a team of high-performing product owners to deliver end user & platform features;
  • Collaborating with business partners and engineering teams to drive positive and impactful business outcomes that align to quantifiable business metrics.
You would join the team as a PM Leader to help us creating winning solutions for Worldwide Incentive Compensation. This is a people management role and you ll have immediate impact by:
  • Deeply understanding how Microsoft Incentive Compensation functions and how we can optimize operations and enable future strategy, including quality & timely insights built on a high speed, high scale tech stack
  • Driving a service vision and definition (as well as key success criteria), arriving at business outcomes and roadmap definition, defining system roadmap required to meet core business outcomes, and creating high quality Epics & scenarios to deliver on those outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on how epics and scenarios will be implemented across multiple systems and organizations
  • Being hands-on, bring innovative approaches that continuously improve our ability to deliver faster, better and cheaper solutions while reducing the time and cost to build solutions and on-board with highest quality
  • Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with business, application program managers, software engineers, services engineers, vendors and Engineering peers.
People Management:
  • Build a strong engineering PM organization who can set & drive a bold vision and mission for the organization
  • Lead a high-performing Product Owner team with strong partnership across business and engineering stakeholders
  • Support team members career growth through mentoring, succession planning and working to find appropriate growth opportunities for employees
  • Drive recruiting and staffing required to meet desired business outcomes
, Required Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of the Sales Compensation process and the broader Sales process for enterprises
  • Strong candidates should have 12+ years of experience in system implementation, process analysis, and enterprise level services/systems.
  • 5+ years with product/program management or product design experience working with partners in non-engineering organizations
  • At least 2+ years as a people manager
  • Strong self-learning ability, entering new domains, managing through uncertainty in an agile environment
  • Good basic understanding/experience of application programming
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and statistical concepts
  • Good understanding of database fundamentals and concepts
  • Sound judgment, decision-making skills, and ability to work under continual deadline pressure
  • Love pushing for clarity in communication and can explain large, complex systems, in simple-straightforward language. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required, MBA preferred
