Job Description

Senior Principal Consultant, SAP BWIn this role, we are looking for a seasoned SAP BW architect with prior experience in implementation, development and transformation projects and should have led a consulting engagement, handled pre-sales and solutioning activities. Leading a team of 10+ people is an added advantage.Prior experience in reporting and visualization tools and exposure to automation and AI/ML will be preferred. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall technical architecture and standards for SAP BW on HANA.
  • Develop prototypes for capability assessment and demonstrations.
  • Accurately estimate work efforts and time estimates.
  • Deliver comprehensive solutions and Serve as a technical and functional specialist on the SAP BW HANA Platform
  • Architect solutions to support the current business needs, define templates, and identify new technologies that can provide valuable solutions to the business
  • Provide thorough documentation around technical structures, for reporting, implementation steps, and standards
  • HANA Modeling, Optimization
  • Design, develop and unit test software or implement and test infrastructure components that meet functional and non-functional activities
  • Coordinate the diagnoses, isolation and de-bugging of software and hardware problems and performs problem resolution
  • Lead the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of applications
  • Understands the advantages of using modeled views versus scripted views.
  • Promote BW-HANA within the Business User Community to better use existing solutions and position BI-HANA for appropriate future needs.
  • Participate and contribute to development and management work plans.
  • Experience with business requirements analysis, entity relationship planning, database design, reporting structures, and soon.
  • Deploy and develop objects based on the requirement.
Minimum qualifications
  • Graduate or Post Graduate with Engineering specialization or equivalent
  • MBA Finance from reputed universities with commerce background at graduation level
  • Solid relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Data Quality tools, such as SAP Business Objects Suite (Data Services, Information Steward)
  • Experience in automation of DS/IS jobs using in-built and third-party schedulers.
  • Experience in implementation of SAP Data Migration process (Mapping-Filter-Validation-Enrichment) using SAP BPDM.
  • Good Experience in writing SQL Statements & SQL s Optimization (SQL Developer, Rapid SQL).
  • Good to have around 2+yearsof experience on other ETL tools like SSIS, Informatica, or Pentaho
  • Experience in EPM (Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC, Host Analytics) or ERP (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Dynamics AX) technology hands-on experience
  • Familiarity with modeling tools, reporting tools, data warehousing, and big-data will be an added advantage)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
  • Good understanding of Process/ data Mining
