The team is truly global, with partner sites in New York, London, and India, and is a great opportunity to enhance and deliver critical infrastructure.What will you be doing Working with technical leads and developers to understand application architecture and business logic to create and own deployment strategiesEnsuring code written meets the predefined company and department standardsDiagnosing and resolving defects found during SIT, QA and UAT test phasesConducting peer reviews and providing constructive feedbackContributing to the delivery of complex projects in collaboration with global teams across Barclays, to develop new or enhance existing systemsStrong appreciation of development best practicesWhat we re looking for:Proven experience working in a Java environment (J2EE, SpingBoot, Maven, Gradle) and/OR Windows environment (.NET, IIS, MS Build, NuGet)Linux/Unix and/OR Windows administrationExpereince or strong knowledge in development, automation, or code quality tools (e.g. JIRA, Nolio, SonarQube, Coveralls, et.) alongside web-related protocols/load balancingHands-on with scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc)Enthusiam to learn new tools/technologies along the waySkills that will help you in the role:Continuous integration tools such as Team City, TFS, Bamboo or equivalentBasic database administration/understandingGit workflow, branching strategiesAny other DevOps tools or experience in development/automation practices (e.g. source control, unit and integration testing, continuous integration, release management),
