ML4Tech Product Manager

Job Description

The Product Manager is the main interface with customers, and is responsible for delivering on the end-to-end product vision with the help from the Functional Team and Engineering Team

• • High visibility role requiring to work closely with customers; as such customer experience is a critical part of this role - acts as a strategic partner; influences senior leaders across the LOBs / firm to drive product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Creates and owns product vision across buyer / customer experiences and is accountable for Product strategy, investment management, multi-year planning, and market analysis

Also responsible for enabling smooth delivery of products throughout the delivery lifecycle removing impediments and blockers slowing down the flow of deliveryPrimary Responsibilities

• • Continuously improves product offering through deep understanding of business needs and close coordination with the customer
    • Launches product features for how customers experience their journey, both from discovery of our products to deployment and renewal, as the owner of definition, execution, and delivery of customer experience and conversion funnel with end-to-end responsibility
    • Engages with stakeholders to identify requirements, defining product features, and working closely with development teams to get those features in the hands of the customers
    • Builds and leverages partnerships across business groups to deliver innovative product features
    • Acts as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the Product - serves as the voice of the customer (in front of senior leadership teams), and the final authority on product requirements
    • Identifies market need, interfacing with customers as needed to define the scope and position of the product; oversees competitive research and technology assessments
  • Creates and maintains the product roadmap, strategy and P&L, inclusive of cost, investment and overall benefit realization
    • Provides strategic leadership to the team by creating the overall strategic vision for product
    • Defines, represents and communicates product strategy and vision that is in line with business long-term goals and delivers unique value
    • Delivers business impact through a variety of metrics, including buyer funnel expansion, conversion, and revenue
  • Leadership
    • Proven leader who creates and cultivates diverse teams (comprised of software engineering, infrastructure development, architecture, etc. resources) for product delivery
    • Demonstrates inclusive leadership, effectively coaches for performance and career development and is a role model in the pursuit of excellence
    • Provides cross-functional leadership and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups, often between engineering, architecture, and operations

Skills

• • Entrepreneurial spirit with track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments
  • Proficient knowledge of product management techniques (e.g., product roadmapping, feature matrix, agile), web services, online technologies, and user interface design
  • Strong knowledge of product strategy with direct experience in strategic planning, product management practices, and organizational, operational and/or technological change and up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • Understanding and proven track record of financial and accounting management, e.g., investment processes, business case development, cost and recovery models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers
  • Expert understanding of business value drivers with some understanding of broader business context
  • Proficient to Expert in multiple business disciplines / job families, functions and participates in setting and driving the business strategic direction

• Understands technology life cycle well and has deep understanding of users across SDLC, Data and Infrastructure.

Experience

• • Engineering Graduate and MBA with over 12+ years of experience in Technology Product Management; and at least 2 years of Technology Product Management experience in ML based products.
  • Completion of a full product lifecycle - Experience of product leadership and/or management, ideally in a global organization; focus on technology products is an advantage
  • Proven track record in managing broad Technical Delivery team, particular those based on software with agile methodologies
  • Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders
