Job Description

Job Purpose Provide data driven insights to support day - to - day BAU and strategic decision - making for the department. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

  1. Use strong business acumen to collate and analyze vast amount of data for actionable insights, as well as an ability to communicate these findings through meaningful and presentable reports.
  2. Use a combined knowledge of MS Office, excel macros, statistics, analytics and math to solve problems.
  3. Perform data analysis to assess the quality of the data, determine the meaning of the data, and perform final analysis to provide summaries that help in decision - making.
  4. Preparing reports based on analysis and presenting to management.
  5. Sift and analyze data from multiple angles, looking for trends that highlight problems or opportunities.
  6. Communicate important information and insights to business and IT leaders.
  7. Make recommendations adapting to existing business priorities.

          1. High level of mathematical ability.
          2. Ability to analyze, interpret and present data.
          3. Has an eye for detail for erroneous data.
          4. High level of proficiency with Excel, Macros, SQL.
          5. Proficiency with the statistical tools such as R, SPSS and programming languages, such as SQL and Python, would be a huge added advantage.

                            • Certification in Business Analytics
                            • Bachelor s in Computer Applications or other equivalents
                                • Knack for defect detection
                                • Statistical modelling using regressions, R, SPSS, Python
                                • Working knowledge of SQL would be an advantage
                                • Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
                                  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst in a technology driven organization
