Job Description

    The Technology PMO Analyst will be part of a central PMO function within Digital Transformation PPM and will be allocated out onto technology projects to provide PM support and ensure PMO disciplines are adhered to.Job description
    • Maintain a detailed project plan and proactively reach out to task owners for updates on soon to be completed tasks and advise the project manager on risks to critical path
    • Schedule and join project meetings, take minutes and over time once familiar with the project begin to also assess impact from discussions raised changes to the project plan and RAID log
    • Proactively update the plan and RAID log following meetings analyse the changes and make judgements on impact & action plans required
    • Run regular sessions with the project manager on project progress, presenting the latest project plan, highlighting risks, issues and dependencies etc
    • Produce stakeholder/status/ meeting packs for the project manager to review
    • Independently maintain and document all key artefacts, templates and logs (i.e. actions, decisions, change requests)
    • Produce weekly status reports for the project manager
    • Financial management record and keep track of spend to date and update the PM in relation to this and the overall project forecast cost to complete.
    • Support the Project Manager in the completion of various Risk Governance documentation which requires completing prior to stage-gate progression ( Eg Business Impact Assessment, Information Security questionnaires etc)
    • Support in the production of suitable Executive level Management Information
    • Support in the Traceability Audit Checklist ie all required templates are complete, required submissions for sign off have taken place etc
    Underlying Data and Tooling
    • Feed into the wider UK Central Portfolio PMO team to ensure project updates are shared in a timely manner
    • Use various tooling to help drive effective reporting and project activities ServiceNow, Source, JIRA, JIRA Boards
    • Analyse and present data-based updates regarding project budgets and associated spend
    • Monitor key areas which require additional focus. Ie Risks and Issues on Red and progress in terms of path to green
    • Update the Resource Tracker which underpins planning and budgeting
