Job Description

Head P2P Reporting SysMgmt and Training Job Description This position is responsible for overseeing the Management of P2P systems, serving as a P2P data expert to drive accurate reporting as well as ensure proper training on related systems. This role will collaborate with Novartis Spokes, GPO, customers and external suppliers to lead operational excellence as well as process and system efficiency initiatives, while maintaining controls and reporting. Your Responsibilities: Focus on Customers- Partner with Novartis internal customers (our colleagues), third party vendors and external suppliers. Performance Management and Service Delivery - Provides services at expected levels with a clear customer service mindset. Deliver industry standard best in class performance and a user- friendly End- user experience. Technical/ Systems Management - Oversees P2P system landscape. Ensures quality, accuracy and effectiveness of the processes/ system portfolio, securing company assets by executing strong NFCM/ SOX controls all O2P applications, while providing accurate financial information and timely reporting. Manages controls and/ or segregation of duties. Oversees required compliance and reporting activities related to system performance. Identifies P2P systems enhancement and ensures global scalability, finance core compliance and operational efficiency. Reporting: Responsible for overseeing and delivering a comprehensive approach for monitoring and reporting the E2E P2P process. Drives a control- focused mindset, Ensures reporting program that provides consistent global view of operational and strategic KPIs. Ensuring adequate monitoring and exception reporting is present for hub and spoke. Ensures local/ global KPIs and SLAs are met, managed and improved. Delivering appropriate reporting and metrics to provide insight to operational efficiency and effectiveness. Delivers relevant commentary aimed at improvement initiatives and identification of key drivers and root cause. Training: Delivers training strategy for operational knowledge retention as well as an E2E P2P training program for new joiners/ Novartis End Users. Ensures up to date documentation is available and meets internal customer needs. Devlopment of detailed training plan/ QRG/ Communication plan on key topics. Business Partnering Develop and maintain customer focused relationships with key stakeholders. Project Management/ Team Management - Demonstrate experience in planning and leading projects utilising project management techniques, with strong interpersonal and understanding of technical requirements. Extensive experience in organizational design and people management and development, with the ability to motivate and empower teams. Communication - Effectively communicate with internal peers, teammates, Internal/ External Customers regarding daily operations and short- term/ long- term strategies. Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: Bachelor s Degree DESIRED CPA and/ or MBA Excellent verbal and written English 12+ years of Work Experience Competencies (Describe the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed) Previous Management Role in Finance, Accounts Payable, and/ or Procurement Function Seasoned Experience with Ariba/ SAP/ BI or similar systems Seasoned Experience in Project Management and Process Improvements Seasoned Experience in managing remote 3rd party supplier relationships Previous Experience with Reporting and Analysis Previous Experience dealing with internal and external auditors Experience with SOX and control matrixes Strong Change Management Skills and Flexibility Strong Communication, Facilitation and interpersonal skills Strong Customer Service experience Strong knowledge and/ or experience within an empowering/ self- direct environment. Demonstrated ability to work with international colleagues Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflicts across matrix organizations Ability to coach and provide constructive feedback,
