Job Description

The Head BPA NTO has a significant Finance leadership role being a key member of the Global NTO BPA Leadership Team, including the support of the NTO CFO, Head BPA, and Financial leaders for driving the Finance operations agenda in NTO across the range of different initiatives in the NTO organization. The Head BPA Operations is responsible for ensuring financial leadership in NTO achieving its operational improvement targets over the tactical and strategic planning horizons and driving cost per-unit as well as total COGS to the targeted, industry-leading levels. Your key responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:Major Accountabilities: Global BPA NTO role as key role in Productivity and Spend Reporting: Own NTO NBS spend budget, managing relationship with NBS division, understanding business rationale for charges changes, plan short and long term planning and interact with NTO top management (~0,7bn spend) Own NTO Indirect Spend budget, managing relationship with Procurement team, understanding business rationale for spend evolution, plan short and long term planning and interact with NTO top management and Productivity team (~0,9bn spend) Own NTO Personnel Cost and FTE process, setting end-to-end process with Technology platforms, managing month end closing, key planning cycles and bringing business understanding and key Productivity projects understanding for top management (~2,4bn spend) Own NTO Global Functions, managing NTO LT members to forecast FTES, personal cost and other relevant cost items for target, latest outlook and closing (~0,1bn cost)Function Head & Global Leadership role of managing the NTO Finance Hyderabad team: Lead a talent pool of 20 plus associates and leverage onshore capabilities of NTO Finance teams in other Headquarter locations (5 to 7 direct reports, local oversight of the remaining 13 to 15 associates) Manages Team, individual performance and development of direct reports and oversight of indirect reports. Provides leadership to the finance and strategic communities as a steward for NTO BPA Operations. Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior stakeholders and their teams. Active role with NTO Operating Center Finance Head to implement the New operating model with growing presence in Hyderabad to support Site Finance processes. Oversight of the service delivery operations of Hyderabad NTO Finance teams not reporting to Global BPA (13 to 15 associates mainly working for Capex, Network Transformation, Reporting and Systems and support to Technology Platforms). Key point of contact for handling all escalations. Track & ensure overall NTO Hyderabad BPA budget is within target Supports organization wide NTO Finance & BPA trainings. Contributes to the development of financial policies and procedures within the NTO Finance Team and the organization. Managing all staffing needs relating to recruitment & retention strategies of high performers Identifies and rolls out functional best practices: analytical tools, methodologies and thereby contributes to process improvements. Driving the culture of high performing team through focused in House programs and enhancing competencies within the team. Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role:- Should have min 12+yrs of experience. - Strong Communication skills and leadership. - Manufacturing Finance experience highly value added. - Strong experience owning financial performance (not only as people manager) - Experience in companies with exposure to different cultures and to working remotely. - Key responsibilities: o Financial accountability over Global Functions planning and actuals o Lead of NBS Financial process for NTO, with strong coordination with NBS team o Lead of Indirect spend planning and actual process for NTO, strong interaction with Technology platforms. Strong interaction with PoP and Procurement team o Lead of FTE and Personnel cost end to end planning, coordination of global process, strong interaction with Technology platforms o Oversight of other areas: Reporting and Systems, Capex, Network Transformation, Support to platforms (not full business accountability but managing dotted line from those teams how reports directly to other team members out of Hyd) Why consider Novartis 799 million.
