The ideal candidate will possess both an analytical background that enables him/her to manage global network planning, and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically about customer service initiatives. She/he will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.Key responsibilities include: The successful candidate will work in lock-step with multiple business teams, CS Operations, Global Outsourcing, Program Management and Finance leadership. He/she will: - Develop best in class forecasting models that captures the dynamics of retail e-commerce business.
    • Liaison with other teams/ stakeholders to gather information needed for accurate forecasting
    • Improve performance to plan by identifying, measuring and managing key metrics related to forecasting
    • Lead critical projects to improve planning and forecasting efficiency for global operations.
    • Participate in global customer service initiatives and project roll outs to cater to growing business needs
    • Promote process improvement and standardization of processes across all sites in the network
    This position can be located in any EU Consumer Contact forecasting location (Hyderabad, Regensburg).Key job responsibilities Develop forecasting models that captures the dynamics of retail e-commerce business.

    , Knowledge & Skills Required
    • Bachelor s Degree in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, stats) required. Masters in quantitative field or Business Administration preferred.
    • 3+ years of work experience. Experience in operations management/ business analyst/ e-commerce industry will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment by combining analytical rigor and judgment
    • Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, enthusiasm to drive positive change and persuasive ability.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (ability to present detailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable in dealing with large amounts of data.
    Analytics experience with big data is preferred - Experience with making large scale optimization and predictive models is preferred
    • Some programming experience is a plus to automate tools whenever appropriate
    • Experience utilizing Python, AWS, SQL and VBA is a plus
    • This is a global role where key stakeholders are spread across geography/time zones. Concerned individual should be motivated/flexible enough to work in Europe day time if required (India Night hours).
