Job Description

    The Global SHE and Security Manager needs to: - Influence and persuade managers and staff to improve SHE and Security awareness, attitudes and actions without direct authority- Broadly explain and represent SHE and Security towards GbS and its sites - Be able to divide and control his attention to the different organizations that are being dealt with- Be able to recognize that the Site SHE and Security Coordinators in the ventures are from different backgrounds and operations, and therefore need to be coached differently to reach same level- Operate in a global context with international teams from different cultures (Western, Indian)- Have excellent communication and presentation skills in English- Be fully aware of the different services in the various SDUs of GbS (Finance, IT, HR and Purchasing) and their developments and portfolio- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from (top) executives, GbS LT up to staff members like team managers or operational employees- Deal with confidential informationKnowledge & Skills:- 10+ years overall work experience, preferably some years in a Shared Services environment - 5+ years of experience working in a SHE and/or Security manager position, with a global spread- In depth knowledge of Security /SHE strategies, policies, annexes and practices- Passionate about Security, SHE and Risk Management and can bring his passion across - Good understanding of the SDU processes (HR, IT, Purchasing, Finance)- Customer service oriented attitude- High level of conceptual and analytical thinking- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can engage with all levels in the organization. Fluent in English- Mature consulting and advisory skills, good relationship building skills to leverage and orchestrate diverse stakeholders with adequate sense of urgency- Good influencing and negotiation skills, confident in dealing with conflicting interests of the various stakeholders, can influence without authority- Demonstrate tact and diplomacy to maintain successful working relationsThis job opening was posted long time back.
