The Electrical Schematics Lead Engineer is responsible for developing the functional circuit design for the train level considering various electrical design principle aspects and with close co-ordination with vehicle functional architect team. The engineer should have the knowledge of general design rules of vehicle electrical integration design for developing such concepts .Find a relevant donor for particular schematic concepts based on requirement from vehicle functional architect and develop necessary schematic meeting to these requirements. Creation of the eletcrical schematic concepts using the Zuken E3 series tool. Define Electrical Design rules and functional concepts in cooperation with functional architects, safety engineers and system engineers Integration of systems in one complete circuit diagram according the actual norms, standards and requirements Lead functional schematic (CTC) scope in front of relevant stake holders (functional architect, safety expert, customer, chief engineer, CoEs etc ) Drive design reviews and First Article Inspections (FAIs) Responsible to prepare hard wired logic diagram and make bridge between functional requirement vs electrical and sub-system architectures. To analyse functional requirements and sub-system supplier inputs which are necessary for generating circuit design To be present in the sub-system design reviews with supplier and customer. Analyse and optimize the technical choices in terms of cost, reliability and safety. Support testing team to test the functionality of the Control/Command on train level through specific software Develop schematic description document for each schematics Translate the train Control/Command into wiring diagrams. Manage the electrical and functional interfaces with other systems and support for developing the cabling diagram / physical integration and defining the electrical components. Ensure overall vehicle electrical functionality and performance. Review of sub-system interface document and agreement inline with functional requirement and schematic concepts available. Develop an alternative and optimized schematic solution for the similar requirements from functional architect. To review / verify the integrated circuit diagram in-line with functional circuit design Participate in vehicle functional design reviews To be the Engineering function(s) direct interface to the Project Engineer and the other project members with regards to the vehicle function and electrical requirements. Reviewing functional test and validation documents.Find a relevant donor for particular schematic concepts based on requirement from vehicle functional architect and develop necessary schematic meeting to these requirements.
