job description dy. manager testing & validation in hyderabad Job Summary- In charge of performance, durability & validation testing of vehicle & engine components and complete systems including lab simulations and road testing. - Testing on simulators as per standards using national and international test cycles. - Leading & executing the development projects. - Optimization of performance by calibration techniques with software tools. - Performance evaluation of gasoline vehicles as per standards. - Cross functioning and co-coordinating the testing project activities with internal and external stakeholders validation and verification of multisource components. - Competitor vehicles benchmarking and performance evaluation. - Budgeting & cost optimization of capex and consumables for testing and validation projects.Key Responsibilities- Responsible for all testing and validation activities of the projects. - Develop the master DVP that company will follow for component, engine and complete vehicle level with detail of testing standards to be followed. - Incorporate the DVP limits and targets defined by the company (performance, quality, durability, fuel efficiency, etc) into the testing parameters. - Responsible for assembly, testing, maintenance, disassembly and checking parameters of each component as per the DVP methodology and testing standards being followed. - Perform root cause analysis for failures detected during and provide complete detailed reports and feedback to the design team. - Responsible for incoming proto component checking and compliance before testing begins. - Coordination with external certification agency like ARAI, VRDE, ICAT,VCA for cop & type approval & certification tests. - Manage, monitor and control in-house labs, testing equipment as well as external testing agencies. - Be an auditor for external validation tests done. - Regulation study (IS & AIS) for different vehicle parts as well as for testing procedure. - Quality audit for production vehicles of all models for mass emission & performance- Inventory maintenance for test lab equipment, components & master engines/vehicles- Analysis based on market feedback & evaluation of parts failure under warranty period. - Tracking part development & testing activities using activity control sheet.Benefits One of the leading Two wheeler manufacturer (OEM)Client Introduction One of the leading International two wheeler OEM skills Testing & Validation, qualification - Mechanical engineer with B-tech with a minimum of 8 years of experience in 2 wheeler component, engine and vehicle testing and validation processes, standards and requirements. - Knowledge and experience in previous projects of complete two wheeler DVP including engine separate. - Familiar with industry and international testing standards and methodologies. - Familiar with APQP, quality standards, sops, emissions and homologation norms, project management.- Can manage and/or operate and/or all testing and measuring equipments, read and interpret all kinds of testing reports on component or vehicle level. - Knowledge in simulated testing as well as real road testing. ,
