    ROLE SUMMARYCredit Officer responsibilities include preparing loan applications, evaluating clients financial information and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESOverseeing the credit granting process for a companyOptimise company sales and reduce bad debt losses by maintaining the credit policy.Assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers and conducting periodic reviews of existing customers.Calculate and set interest rates.Negotiate loan terms with clients.Monitor payments.Maintain records of loan applicationsKEY SKILLS & BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTESAnalytical and Problem Solving Motivated and Energetic Solution Oriented Multilingual is preferred.Good Communication Skills -both Written and verbal Preference to candidates who understand Rural Market nuances.Team management and people orientation Good stakeholder management skillsEDUCATION BACKGROUND:Minimum Qualification: Bachelors degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a similar field.
