Job Description

  • Advanced/Expert level administration, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Voice, Messaging, and Call Center platforms.Voice experience with Call Managers version 11.X or higher

  • Analyze user requirements, perform cost analysis, and identify designs/approaches to ensure the customer s needs are met.
  • Submit voice network connectivity specifications and offer recommendations.
  • Provide technical leadership for customers voice projects, which may include equipment ordering, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of upgrades or configurations.
  • Communicate Voice network status and provide quality documentation.
  • Establish/maintain a project schedule in coordination with the client and management.
  • Attend daily/weekly meetings and interact regularly with management, customers and incumbents to constantly improve Voice Engineering services.
  • Support Disaster Recovery testing and enforce required standards and procedures
  • Good communication on English language should be able to speak fluently and should be able to understand the client communication very well
  • Education & Certification:
  • 5 yr. degree in electrical engineering/computer science/network engineering.
  • 10 years hands-on experience in large enterprise or voice carriers.
  • Working Experience:
  • We are looking for a senior level voice engineer with experience on VoIP based voice platforms.
  • 10+ years experience providing Voice Operations support in a large enterprise voice platform supporting a variety of vendor platforms.
  • Advanced Level Collaboration certifications - CCIE Collaboration or Voice is a Must.
  • Ability to prioritize and achieve results while working on several simultaneous tasks and projects.
  • Expert level problem solving skills--ability to assess a problem and quickly determine an effective course of action.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to mentor peers and raise the overall level of technical competency in the group.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal and customer management, peers and vendors.
