Job Description

1. Operational Leadership- Oversee Production: Manage and optimize the entire production process to ensure efficient operations, meeting or exceeding production targets while minimizing costs.- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, raw materials, and equipment, to ensure smooth production cycles.2. Safety Management- Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols to protect workers, equipment, and the environment from potential hazards. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for potential chemical spills, fires, and other emergencies, conducting regular drills and safety audits.- Training Programs: Lead safety training programs to educate employees on safe working practices and emergency procedures.3. Quality Assurance- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations by implementing robust quality control measures throughout the production process.- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve product quality by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements, including - environmental and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).4. Strategic Planning- Operational Strategy: Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the companys overall goals, focusing on efficiency, safety, and quality.- Budgeting and Cost Management: Prepare and manage the plants budget, controlling costs while ensuring the plant has the necessary resources to operate effectively.- Capacity Planning: Plan for future production capacity needs, including investments in new technologies, equipment, and facilities.5. Team Leadership and Development- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of safety and quality.- Employee Development: Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.6. Environmental Compliance- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the plants operations, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices.- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the plant complies with all environmental regulations and standards, including proper waste management and emissions control.7. Stakeholder Communication- Internal Reporting: Regularly report on plant performance, safety incidents, and quality issues to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.- External Relations: Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and customers, ensuring transparency and trust.8.
