Job Description

    TheArea Manager in Business Development is responsible for driving growth and profitability within the agency channel for the insurance company. This role involves recruiting, developing, and managing a team of agents to achieve sales targets while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities
    • Recruitment and Team Building:
      • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential agents to expand the agency network.
      • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance agent knowledge and skills.
      • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to agents to improve performance.
      • Build a strong agency culture focused on customer satisfaction and sales excellence.
    • Business Development:
      • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
      • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market penetration and market share.
      • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to launch new products and campaigns.
      • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agency partners.
    • Sales Performance Management:
      • Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for the agency channel.
      • Monitor agent performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
      • Implement incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers.
      • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Compliance and Risk Management:
      • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
      • Conduct regular compliance audits and take corrective actions as needed.
      • Manage agency risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
