Job Description

Company Overview Zigsaw is a leading biotechnology company with a focus on high technology products such as PCR, Gel Electrophoresis units, Gel Doc Systems, Centrifuges, Laboratory Chemicals, and Plasticwares. We cater to a wide range of institutions including research institutes, industries, pharma, diagnostic centers, and hospitals. Our aim is to promote the use of innovative biotechnology products for scientific research and analysis. Role And Responsibilities As a Sales/Marketing Executive, your primary responsibility will be to cover the assigned territory which includes Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Patna, and Ahmedabad. You will be tasked with meeting customers and distributors on a daily basis to fulfill the assigned target. Additionally, you will need to keep an eye on business potential through personal visits, tender bulletins, and GEM enquiries. It will be your responsibility to expand our distributor network and customer segment. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product-wise target achievement. Candidate Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of marketing and technical knowledge in the field of biotechnology. You should be able to effectively manage distributor networks, existing customers, and identify new avenues for growth. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must. Additionally, you should have in-depth knowledge of product technicalities in the segments of Plasticwares, chemicals, and instruments. Proficiency in using online tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary. Candidates with a qualification in Biotechnology/Microbiology or equivalent in any bioscience stream, and preferably a Masters with an MBA, will be given preference.
