Everyone on the engineering team has a huge impact on our product and our company.requirements Skills Required:Mandatory skills:Experience on either Windows Services or Windows Task Scheduling. Creating setup packages - installers/ uninstallers along with customising Good to have skills:Custom Controls like Infragistics/ Telerik/ DevXpress Cloud experience and working with APIs Roles & Responsibilities: Work on latest .NET technologies and be able to support various different .NET and Microsoft OS versions as well as client library versions. So, we will be supporting old versions while adding support for latest versions. Create a self-updatable application that detects new updates (full installs/ patches) and either auto-upgrade or prompt the user to upgrade or snooze/ postpone for a while. Move from Windows Services based model to Windows Task Scheduler model for scheduling recurring jobs with fault-tolerance and self-healing built in in case of circumstances like server down, no internet connectivity etc. Integrate with APIs deployed in cloud (AWS) for log upload and update downloads. Setup alerting, monitoring and reporting around the running applications and data fetched. There is good scope for working with cloud and NoSQL databases to implement this. Revamp the current application architecture to move to ORM framework like NHibernate etc. Move the application architecture to WPF and use custom controls like Infragistics/ Telerik etc. Implement CI/ CD for the application. Write unit test cases for testing and code coverage along with code quality etc. Implement security features within the application. Implement custom actions within installation process. Implement WMI for remote installation and maintenance wherever possible. Work closely with a cross functional team of highly motivated and intelligent folks with a unique range of startup and enterprise experience ,
