Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION

Value Optimization service at Supply Management Services Company (SMSC) provides strategic value to Global Supply Management (GSM) and Corning businesses. The service strives to deliver advanced analytics and data intelligence, enabling fast decision - making process to Corning businesses.

Reporting to Global Value Optimization Service Leader, the key responsibility is to enable and enhance internal analytics and intelligence capabilities in all possible approach through the most innovation digital solutions. As part of the Value Optimization team, the incumbent will be contributing majorly to enhance the service framework and system and tools, ensuring the alignment with the GSM and SMSC business strategies.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with development team to design user experience development and ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development, enforces standards through all applications.
  • Lead implementation of new applications - Coordinating with both project & IT Team, to design future business processes, identify and set up required structure to enable optimal data and information distribution, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and documentation.
    • Effectively lead and manage a team of business analysts - managing prioritization, roadmaps and strategic initiatives for the team
    • Managing key operational metrics for VO service leader.
    • Support data management (includes managing data sources, data processing, data flow, regular refresh of data)
    • Ongoing operational support such as synthesizing external data and quantify data to provide insight and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
    • Super User for all VO systems including Logistics Transportation Management system Managing overall governance and maintenance. Ensures team is properly trained on tools, follow process and maintain the accuracy of data.
    • Managing new applications such as Onboarding categories on new applications, roll out of applications to users, provide trainings and workshops, managing improvement logs and manage user access management
    • SupportLead Vendor management SOW Management (related to Applications Developments)

      • Required Skills

      • Has 10 - 15 years SCM experience, analytics and process improvements experience.
      • nalytical and project management skills
      • Ability to interpret data to drive business decisions and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
      • Experienced in leading supply chain excellence projects or developing innovation supply chain tools and processes.
      • Experience in Digitalization (AI, ML) and ability to create automated processes. Experience in Category Management is a plus Experience in Qualitative Research is a plus Advanced knowledge of Office products - office 365, MS Excel, PowerBI, MS Access, Sharepoint 2013
