Job Description

    As an individual contributor in the APAC Planning Processes & Systems team, you will be responsible for:Contributing to the development of the overall APAC Planning Network strategy Analysing upstream & downstream supply planning stages to recommend solutions that improvise the full life cycle and ensure correct net requirements, safety stocks etc are being generated. Troubleshooting and follow up to get the issues fixedReviewing detailed design specifications with the IT team, keeping in mind the business requirements, developing strategies and supporting business reviewsOverseeing successful integration of new Planning Systems functionality (APO, ECC, MGX) with existing systemsResponsible for development, design and implementation of standardized processes and systems that optimize the Distribution Planning function across APAC. Utilizes appropriate project / portfolio execution methodologies and strategies including Lean Sigma, Agile development, core PM skills, etc.Develops and actively utilizes project charters, project calendars, task lists, and meetings agendas and objectives over the course of projects assigned toWork with in-country supply chain teams to determine inventory requirements for moderately complex/ large inventory build projects; optimize inventory levels and ensure minimal business impact Consolidate APAC requirements, formulate inventory strategy and communicate it to the Global Business Units to ensure APAC requirements are prioritized Consider all related factors such as system, warehousing and regulatory impact and remove any barriersManage and execute the integration of new acquisitions into Medtronic business and ensure sales can be transacted in Medtronic SAP systemCommunicates with project stakeholders with regular cadence through a variety of mediums, including presentations, email and stretches on program status and performance. Ensures that stakeholders have up-to-date information needed for their function in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned by manager. Must Have- Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/ Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer science
    • Min 5 years experience in Supply Chain and SAP
    • Preferable Experience in Medical Device Industry
    • Lean, Six Sigma green or black belt certification
    • 2-3 Years project management experience
    • Change Management Agent and experience in complex program management, process & system development
    • Extensive working and technical knowledge of SAP APO and ECC functionality and concepts
    • Effective and seasoned working in a matrix organization and multi-level stakeholder management
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, to wide variety of audiences
    • DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Demonstrated track record of SAP APO/ECC knowledge and expertise in participating/leading large scale projects
    • Strong decision making skills; Sound judgment utilized; takes into account all relevant factors and information
