Job Description

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Design team, TPMs and other developers to accelerate mobile app development for our Flights Shopping Line of business. Our mobile app is used by 16 million people across the globe every month and users are growing in high double digits YO-Y
  • Work with peers across the environment and collaborate to tackle high impact business problems.
  • Develop and test standard software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements.
  • Apply strong software design principles, data structures and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable and optimized code.
  • Will innovate and implement new ideas to tackle sophisticated software problems and prototype creative solutions tenable product MVPs.
  • Work on user centered research practices and data oriented methodologies to understanding customer needs
Who you are:
  • 2 years of experience with a Bachelors degree in a related Technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
  • Developing software in a team environment using agile methodologies, strong version control practises and good grasp on release management.
  • Have developed iOS apps using Swift programming language that is available to be viewed in the App Store.
  • Familiarity with objective C and other relevant languages is a strong plus
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer applying new engineering principles to improve existing systems, implementing new features including leading sophisticated, well defined projects.
  • Have solid coding skills. Understanding of clean code, as synchronous programming, unit tests, and auto-layout.
  • Familiarity with associated technologies within the specialization as part of the wider ecosystem.
  • Understanding of how projects fit together within the team.
  • Ability to test, debug and monitor your own code.
