Instead, we re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life both in and outside of work., 7+ years of professional software development experience 5+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java (preferable), C++, or C# including object-oriented design 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems Experience with modern microservices architecture and/or distributed systems design Master s or Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Design and development experience with at least one object-oriented language 5+ years of experience in front end and back end software development experience including Object - Oriented Development in JAVA or equivalent programming languages, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JSP Knowledge of professional software engineering practices in software development, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processing, testing and operations Experience in data structures and algorithm design, and problem solving Experience being the technical leader on teams helping break down a complex project into multiple workstreams and driving them to completion. Experience helping hiring and mentoring junior developers Experience managing cross team dependencies and ensuring successful delivery of overall project Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Experience implementing and consuming large-scale web services Experience with high scale distributed systems and asynchronous programming Past experience building commerce platforms and billing solutions Experience with AWS technologies
