As our new senior environmental consultant, you will be part of the larger multi-disciplinary Middle East Asia Pacific region. Your role is based in Delhi, India where you will work within a diverse Environmental and Health (E&H) team on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors in India/Asia. In addition to Delhi, options to be based at our other locations such as Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore are present. You will join our bright scientists and consultants to secure, manage and deliver complex and sustainable environmental solutions to our clients.Your responsibilities will entail the provision of project execution, project management and project delivery of environmental related services for our clients, including:

  • Undertaking Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental and Social Monitoring and related projects in accordance to international requirements and performance standards (IFC Performance Standards, EBRD Performance Requirements, Equator Principles, etc.);
  • Project execution which involves data collection and interpretation, site inspections, report preparations, etc.;
  • Project and client management; including project team liaison;
  • Business development activities such as marketing activities and proposal preparation;
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior staff.

  • Degree/Master s in environmental science, Environmental Engineering or related fields;
  • At least 10 years of experience in projects related to environmental and social management, preferably in consulting environment;
  • Expertise in IFC Performance Standards, EBRD Performance Requirements, Equator Principles, etc.
  • Specialist skills and project delivery experience in the selected field;
  • English fluency and excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to interact well with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders;
  • Proven track record in project management and business development; and
  • Excellent leadership skill, able to lead, motivate and grow the team.
