Job purpose summary
The Creative Strategist is responsible for developing and maintaining our clients brand strategy and voice. They are creatively driven, have strong conceptual experience and are able to bring alive strategic ideas across platforms.
This is a hybrid role combining strategy creative. They will help develop and shape pan- India thematic campaigns, working closely with both Product Marketing Managers and Agency Partners to deliver work that is both clutter breaking and meets the high- standards that our clients expect. They are a thinker and creator who can write across channels and identify opportunities to develop campaigns that not only capture attention but also compel action. They derive consumer insights and articulate platform thoughts that can be built on.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Shaping strategy and tone- of- voice for various brands, across platforms.
Lead ideation and development of campaign strategy
Writing across platforms - print, outdoor, television, social digital.
To work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing with a focus on generating insights platform strategy that creative teams can build on.
To set tone and drive creativity, working closely with agency and client leads to ensure creative excellence
To be responsible for writing, research and ideation of creative and innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
Stay attuned to globally evolving consumer behavior, best practices, and knowledge
To maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
SECTION TWO: PERSON SPECIFICATION
Role- specific skills, knowledge and experience
Knowledge Skills Required:
5 years writing in a Copy or Strategic function at a top- tier mainline agency
Comfortable wearing both a Creative Strategic hat and able to seamlessly straddle both functions
Prior experience working on large- scale campaigns, particularly on television.
An excellent storyteller, with an ability to bring ideas to life
Meticulous in the use of language and data while developing concepts.
Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
