Job Description

    - Market Knowledge and working with suppliers and partners o Working experience with partners and players both big and small role : technical design/ operational working experience and how was this usedo Experience and Depth Ability to articulate the current state of the market and direction it will take with rationale.o Good understanding of the current and anticipated use AI in mobile CSPs especially in RAN domaino Experience in O-RAN working groups if any or other bodies like TIP o Participation into these working groups and standardization efforts if anyTechnology knowledge o In depth knowledge of the RAN technologies legacy RAN networks, NR, mmWave : Should be able to go into depth of the working of the RAN technologieso Base technology knowledge on the legacy implementations and the use of virtualization and containerization with particular implications for adoption in the RAN areao Ability to explain the working of cells and RAN parameters (in the Radio head, at the cell-site, and elsewhere in the network) o Good understating of how radio site planning and continuous RAN optimization is done along with the specific tools used to achieveo Should be capable of participating in Standards discussion at O-RAN or other related groups and driving the direction of standards if needed- Operationalo Operational experience on ran site deployment process, testing/benchmarking and acceptance, and handling external contractorso Technical Operations knowledge - should be able to explain what it takes to get a site deployed including setup and configuration based on vendors specific RAN NMS/toolso Operational experience on RAN site maintenance and day to day processes (including rollout of new features and continuous RAN optimization) and procedures (kinds of issues, problem handling , resolution)o Handling long term RAN planning and design interactions and inputs to design team and planning teamThe person should have good communication skills.Education and Experience Required: Industry experience - minimum 10 to 15 years Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.Responsibilities: Architecting:
    • Ability to understand the customers business problem, need, or opportunity and to design an IS solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity without unnecessary enhancements.
    • Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise or global solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines.
    • Be able to provide architectural direction for multiple medium to large sized projects concurrently in various stages of their lifecycle or a large project full time.
    • Ability to maintain the integrity of the proposed architecture to assure professional quality and logical consistency in the face of political and business pressures.
    • Conversant with and able to apply multiple architectural, development and operational methodologies (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, ITSM, .) .
    • Understands and applies one or more industry acknowledged architectural modeling methods and tools.
    • Usually possesses a valid industry certification in an appropriate architectural discipline .
    • Can validate/evaluate if an information systems or operational architecture meets business needs .
    • Be able to evaluate the effect of external factors on designed solution .
