Job Description

DescriptionWe are looking for an exceptional QA Lead/Manager to join our Technology Department and really leave a mark by applying their initiative, expertise, and experience to help improve testing and quality across the business.In return, theyll get the opportunity to work on some exciting projects and will work with cutting edge technology in our Gurgaon office. They will be working with members based in Middle-East, Gurgaon, and our partners around the world.This candidate will get the chance to help shape how we work, and inspire others while using the latest tools and technologies.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and co-ordination of the End-to-End Assurance and Test approach in the systems development life cycle.
  • Work closely with our vendors to analyze and improve existing procedures defined within their development lifecycle.
  • Uphold test standards, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
  • Oversee that test documentation is created and maintained. (test plans, test cases, and checklists)
  • Create reports on test results and software product quality for stakeholders.
  • Test Estimation and Planning.
  • Formalize and create a testing approach will be exploratory and risk-based, favoring the discovery and communication of information over the creation of test artifact.
  • Help define and roll out improvements to testing on our platforms and project teams.
  • Work towards more efficient ways of testing using the best tools/methodologies.
  • Hands-on testing when required.
, RequirementsThe ideal skills and attributes for this role include:
  • 7-12 Years (In Software Testing only Preferably e-commerce or startup)
  • Previous Test Management / Leadership experience
  • Providing testing direction and mentoring other QA members.
  • People management and ensuring that the happiness of our team should be at the heart of what you do.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Work closely with the delivery manager, product managers and stakeholders to ensure delivery of a project/program.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Understanding and experience in creating/developing automated test suites which take time to delivery down without impacting quality.
  • In-depth experience in test planning, analysis, and scripting
  • Experience of testing within an Agile environment, adapting quickly to changing situations
  • Leading testing efforts, schedule, execution, and reporting, across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Authorizing the completion of test stages and arranging sign-off with the client and other key stakeholders.
  • The ability to define and iterate a test approach.
  • Experience of solving complex problems/issues.
  • Non functional testing understanding, including Compatibility, Accessibility, performance, security.
  • Project management and issue tracking tool experience: Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, TestRail
  • Programming language experience: Javascript, Java
  • Technologies: Selenium Webdriver and the page object model design pattern and hybrid frameworks.
  • Experience of working on CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge in API testing using REST and SOAP.
  • ISTQB Advanced Test Management qualification (desirable)
  • Experience of the Ecommerce domain (desirable)
  • Experience in APIs, web/mobile application security testing.
