Job Description

OSS Assurance L2 Support EngineerThis role has been designated as Edge , which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.Responsibilities:

  • Participates as a member of 24x7 shift application support team.
  • Incident, Service Request and Change Request management
  • Regular Operations management and health checks
  • Threshold monitoring of the systems and proactive actions
  • Liaise with L3/Product team on complex issues. Provide the logs and other documents for L3/Product team troubleshooting
  • Deploy patches/fixes in production and do sanity testing
  • Participate in DC/DR drills
Education and Experience Required:
  • Typically a technical Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 1-4 years of related experience.
  • May include highly experienced individuals performing entry- level equivalent work who are non- degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • 1-4 years experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) Java, C, C, Perl, Python
  • Basic Understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle. Basic understanding of testing tools and unit test scripting.
  • Telecom OSS, Service Assurance and Fault Management experience
