Responsible for supporting Network Planning and/or Recording process. Will have the ability to identify, analyse and resolve basic planning/records requirements.Produce and maintain accurate local, main line, copper & fibre plant records within Network Engineer, a system that employs a geospatial representation to manage customer and network facilities.Recording all certified information to the agreed quality standard to facilitate maintenance & expansion of current network.Compiling statistical information, as and when required.Maximize performance and business delivery in line with team objectives and individual contribution.Be fully conversant with the relevant systems, processes and procedures which reflect civil & Logical Network.FTTP / FTTC / FTTX/Complex copper Access Network Planning & Mapping.Maintain the integrity of the Network Records from information provided by users or systems.Answer and investigate routine queries on Physical Network Issues within agreed timescales.Update Network inventory Databases to depict correct information.Update time & job volume recording systems.Understand & comply with access, use or disclose of customer information in accordance with organisation s security policy.Interact with support teams, field engineers, and end customers over Phone, Chat & Email.Accurately raise estimates for sub-contractors for network deployment.Accept or reject the returns from sub-contractors on the basis of provided guidelines.Business Impact:Impact is primarily functional in scope.Misuse of Data Confidentiality may lead to non-compliance & disciplinary action.Authority/Decision Making:Normally on a day to day basis within defined limits prescribed by line management.Ability to take judgement call while performing required tasks on the open reach network.Well also need to see these on your CVSkills/Experience:Technical competence in Telecom basics & terminology & transmission methodologies.Previous experience in telecom or planning/design typically 0-2 years.Good communication skills.Team player & ability to stay calm under pressure.Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability & logical aptitudeShould not have applied for same position in past 3 months.Should be comfortable in a 24x7 working process.Qualifications:Candidate with a B.E. / B.Tech degree mandatoryTechnical qualification or Good exposure in domain of Transmission & telecom industry, *NA
