Job Description

Mandatory skills:

  • Must have good analytical skills and Core Java competence with exposure to multi-threading, collections and design patterns.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Must be good in re-engineering aspects
  • Experience in a software design modeling tool
  • Experience and knowledge of algorithms and data structures, OOAD, multithreaded programming, databases
  • Proactive, motivated, works well in team and should be a good communicator
  • Good knowledge of Linux
  • Version control and GIT/Gerrit/Maven knowledge is added advantage
  • Good technical leadership skills (hands on as a technical leader)
  • Ability and interest to work in new areas
  • Structured and meticulous in planning and problem solving
  • Open, flexible and adaptable in outlook and ways of working
  • Strong collaborative team building skills
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of micro services is added advantage
  • Technical expertise in Charging/Billing domain, or telecom products with similar complexity
  • Excellence in Software Design, Architecture principles and Software development Life Cycle
  • Domain knowledge in: Telecom BSS with strong focus on Billing/Charging, Rating
  • Experience on optimized programming
  • Expertise in various protocols e. g.: GSM, CIP, SS7, UMTS, SIP, Diameter, GPRS, SIGTRAN, RPC, XML-RPC, HTTP
  • Sound knowledge of OSGi, Corba
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle TimesTen database
  • Exposure to TTCN scripting
  • Good command on Algorithms and data structures, OOAD, state machinesClient-server systems, distributed systemsMultithreaded programming, socket, signaling and messaging
