*What will your essential responsibilities include Reporting Operational effectiveness and workflow management Plan, organize, and prioritize assignments to ensure quality and on-time delivery of various investment reports to different functions/teams. Nature of the reports include investment holdings, performance and regulatory reports. Develop Qlikview based reporting solutions according to the business requirements and ongoing maintenance of existing dashboards. Provide support of the QA and Production environments within Qlikview including creation, monitoring and troubleshooting of the reports. Produce Investment and Performance Reports for various asset classes. Maintain books (Book keeping) for non fixed income assets. Work with Investment accounting, Finance and Fixed Income teams to understand the requirements, design solution and resolve queries. Maintain portfolios and benchmark related information as required for performance reporting. Produce Fixed Income exposure, legal entities and risk reports based on the production calendar. Troubleshoot complex excel based reports and re-engineer reports when required. Provide support to the investment operations team by being an effective back up and perform tasks subject to the requirements. Perform other duties as and when assigned by the manager and help manager achieve the desired goal for a period., *We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:A bachelors/ Master s degree is required; a concentration in accounting, finance or economics is preferred. An MBA, CFA or related degree preferred. Degree/Diploma in Computer with the fair amount of experience in automation and report reengineering Understanding of the properties of various fixed income and equity securities, and ability to classify them correctly according to the reporting different reporting requirements. Data Structure, PL/SQL knowledge and work experience in any databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) is preferable. In depth knowledge of capital market and Investment instruments with respect to global financial environment Hands on experience of MS Excel is must to have, hands on experience of Qlikview (reporting tool) and VBA (basic or advanced) will be preferable. Skills are required for trouble shooting queries and report building for internal and external users within Qlikview environment. Ability to switch priorities and flexibility to work with reporting and data managers is required. Ability to troubleshoot a complex query related to Portfolio and Performance management, Fixed Income and Market Risk and other investment related areas. Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience with Banking, Investment Banking, Portfolio and asset Management or from any financial services company Good communication skills required to interact with internal colleagues and external vendors to resolve queries or completing a task in hand like creating new reporting schema, implementing reporting changes, transitioning/migrating reporting from one vendor to another Must have strong analytical skills to quickly understand, absorb and implement business intelligence tools in day to day work Knowledge of reference data, strategic asset allocation, Hedge Fund and other alternative investment background would be a plus with innate quality of efficient time/task management skills.
