Job Description

Process Overview

The process identifies researches and resolves any exceptions arising post settlement of FX Trades related to exotic currencies. These exceptions relate to unreconciled ROE currency account with payment providers like INTL , Cambridge, Earth port, Client requests such as payment cancellation, beneficiary claims non receipt, recall of funds, Wire amendment, confirmation of credit to beneficiary etc. The associates investigate the exceptions, fix the break and provide resolution to client and internal business partners. As a part of the process, the associates need to liaise with various foreign banks, counter parties, FX trade support and FX clients of Bank of America. The associates will be primarily responsible for processing transactions as per the SLAs outlined by the Line of Business.

Job Description

  • Investigations of Nostro breaks
  • Processing of swift messages
  • Ensure all e - emails are actioned and cleared by EOD
  • Follow up with banks depts. to ensure timely action and closure of case
  • Escalation Prioritization of aged high value ROE breaks
  • Ensure to clear the Nostro and Swift Cases within the SLA
  • Understanding the best practices which minimizes risk & time
  • Ensure all payments are cleared at EOD
  • Processing wire payments with 100% accuracy without incurring loss to the bank
  • Re - effect the payments based on instructions received

    • Responsibilities

      • Ensure that the process transactions are processed as per procedures
      • Must contribute to help the team achieve the targets for various CTQs as per the SLA
      • Ensure that the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters
      • Identify potential areas for process improvements & highlight the same to the manager of the process
      • Provide the relevant process reports andor MIS on a on a daily basis
      • Ensure adherence to established attendance schedules
      • Provide process training to new team members to improve their performance

        • Requirements

          • Education - B Com
          • Certifications If Any in Global Markets Payments
          • Experience Range 7 - 10 years
          • Mandatory skills FX knowledge, Exotic Currencies, Rate of Execution, Client Trades, Fill Trades, Knowledge on working with payment providers like Int l, Cambridge Mercantile and Earthport, FOBO reconciliation, Good understanding of FX trade confirmation and settlement, Excellent communication skills and Good analytical aptitude and reasoning ability
          • Desired skills Hands on experience in using MS excel and access.
