Job Description

Individual will be required to provide Midrange Administration support for complex applications. He/she will work with stakeholders on a daily basis to provide design and build activities, manage and resolve incidents

Responsibilities

  • Managing Unix OS and Hardware comprises of various Operating Systems loaded
  • Should able to handle the Production Changes with necessary stake holders involved
  • Should able to work on the blade logic, VM hypervisors
  • Work on design and build a scalable, high performance OS platform
  • Knowledge on the Change Management process
  • Ability to work on multiple OS concurrently and enthusiastic to learn new technologies

Requirements

  • Education

  • Graduate in computer stream (BCA, BTECH, BE)

    • Certifications If Any :- NA
    • Experience Range

  • 3-6 years hands on experience

    • Mandatory skills
    • Minimum 3 years of Experience in Linux Administration
    • Individual should be able to build, deploy, troubleshoot and support multiple UNIX operating system with knowledge on VMware, Veritas Products and RHEL Cluster.
    • Veritas, VMware and RHEL Cluster Experience
    • Should have experience on RHEL / OS Upgrades.
    • Should have experience on deploying OS Patches, Software.
    • Experience on cluster environments
    • Experience on Storage Reclamation and knowledge on Storage Migration.
    • Must have experience in change management
    • Should have knowledge working with Vendors and Data Center Techs.
    • Understanding shell scripts is required
    • Excellent communication skills

    -Desired skills

    • RHEL Certified
    • RHEL Cluster
    • Strong experience in installing and configuring UNIX in a multi instance environment (all flavors of UNIX platform and Windows)
    • Experience of Redhat clustering
    • Need to know the server patching, building environments incident management
    • Ability to install and troubleshoot. Self-managed proven ability to identify circumstances and changes which may impact deliverables.
    • Needs solid UNIX server administration experience with strong emphasis on diagnostic performance tuning skills on Redhat Platform

    Work Timings - 16x7 (0630-2230)
