Job Description

    As a Senior Claims Analyst, youll be involved in managing a claim from the start through to settlement, making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim, and checking for any potentially fraudulent activity.Youll coordinate services required by broker/leaders/claim handlers onshore following an incident leading a claim. Youll also liaise with external experts such as loss adjusters, brokers, cedants and so on.Work on complex cases requires experience and expert knowledge. At this stage, you may become involved in loss adjusting activities or in discussions with brokers/leaders/onshore claim handlers about the recovery of money from the party responsible for the loss.
    • process new insurance claims notifications
    • collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim
    • analyze a claim to establish whether it satisfies the policy conditions
    • contact tradespeople from a network of approved professionals
    • monitor the progress of a claim
    • investigate potentially fraudulent claims
    • ensure fair settlement of a valid claim
    • ensure the customer/stakeholder is treated fairly and that the services rendered are in accordance with industry and company guidelines
    • manage all administration aspects of the claim
    • adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.
    • training and mentoring the new hires. Identify the gaps and enhance them with the process knowledge to deliver the best results.
    • responsible for all process meetings, the day-to-day targets, sending end of the day reports, weekly & monthly dashboards, setting up Service Level Agreements (S.L.A.).
    • updating the referral database from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the process & to ensure everyone at similar platform of knowledge.
    • working as a spoke person for the team, updating onshore counterparts on weekly basis through reports and calls.
