This position will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities in the Die Cast department for the manufacturing of cast rotors.ResponsibilitiesEstablish or adjust work procedures and assignments to meet production schedules and prevent overtime.Plan and coordinate work assignments based on knowledge, skills, experience, man hours, machines and tooling to the best advantages to obtain the most favorable manufacturing costs, quality and workmanship.Analyze manufacturing problems. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.Train assigned associates based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems or changes in products, procedures or services.Plan and direct cross-functional work activities to establish production priorities, maintain effective cost factors, enhance quality assurance and reduce inventory.Coordinate and direct cross-functional activities to maintain daily repair and preventative maintenance of equipment and facility.Inspect product to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustments of machines.Maintain required paperwork such as production reports, quality and scrap reports, and vacation and attendance records.Enforce company policies to workers and enforce safety rules and regulations.Meet with hourly personnel to help resolve individual issues.Maintain a clean and safe work area to decrease safety hazards caused by spillage, blocked accesses and other safety hazards.Ensure clear, concise and effective communication between shiftsRequirementsEducationBachelor s degree from four year college or university preferred.Experience2-3 years experience required to include time spent as a Supervisor to become familiar with products, methods and techniques.Salary1 Lac 25 Thousand To 1 Lac 75 Thousand P.A.IndustryManufacturing / Production / QualityWork Experience1 - 3 YearsQualificationDiploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, Professional Degree,
