Job Description

The Assistant Banquet Manager is responsible for supervising, training and ensuring the performance of assigned banquet associates, so that all procedures are completed to the hotelxe2x80x99s standards. The Assistant Banquet Manager will be required to assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to all guests. The Assistant Banquet Manager will assist in other F&B areas as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hospitality Industry Background: The ideal candidate must possess a background in either hotels or restaurants, with a deep understanding of the nuances of both environments. Experience in a luxury hotel setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the food industry, with a strong track record of success in roles that encompass hotel, restaurant, and food service management.
  • Hands-On Expertise: You will lead by example, actively engaging in hotel, restaurant, and food service operations to maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and efficiency. Your hands-on approach will inspire and motivate your team.
  • Team Leadership: As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing our food and beverage staff. Your leadership skills will ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of the food and beverage industry, including trends, regulations, and best practices. You will drive innovation in our offerings while maintaining cost controls.
  • Guest Feedback: Actively engage with guests, taking the initiative to collect feedback directly from them. Your responsibility will include ensuring that guest feedback is gathered and analyzed to continuously improve our food and beverage services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in food and beverage management within the hotel, restaurant, and food industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including procurement, menu planning, and cost management.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and systems.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: 14,373.75 - 30,425.76 per month
