Job Description

Primary ResponsibilitiesPerforms Protocol/Project Specific Testing by:

  • Conducting protocol/project specific testing in Express to ensure complete fulfillment of customer requirements and correct operation of Forms and Study Design and written edit checks.
  • Documenting Forms and Study Design QC in accordance with applicable process and procedures.
  • Documenting edit check and protocol specific QC in accordance with applicable process and procedures.
Acts as a Team Lead for Study QC representation in Project Team meetings by:
  • Collecting all testing information and ensuring testing is complete, correct and ready for reporting of results.
  • Liaising with appropriate project team members for follow-up, resolution and closeout of Study QC tasks
  • Manages Microsoft Project
    • Identifying new tasks
    • Delegation of work associated with designated project team tasks
    • Ensuring status of Study QC tasks are up-to-date
    • Following up on tasks unresolved or unaddressed tasks
    • Track outstanding projects
  • Reviewing work performed by Study QC Analysts for consistency, compliance to procedures and overall quality.
  • Reporting testing and review anomalies, as appropriate, to management and appropriate project teams.
  • Creating Study Specific Test Summary documentation
Secondary ResponsibilitiesMaintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by:
  • Verifying work of other Study QC Analysts to ensure quality deliverables
  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards
  • Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to Study QC
Contributes to team effort by:
  • Helping others to accomplish results
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Attending and participating in applicable company sponsored training
  • Attending Project/Team meetings
  • Training new hires on company processes and responsibilities
QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelor s degree or relevant quality experience.
Experience:
  • 5 years experience carrying out quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Experience working in a team environment where deliverables and timelines must be met.
  • Prior testing experience with pharmaceutical related software, preferred
Additional Skill Set:
  • Oral and written communication skills, a must.
  • Organized
  • The ability to interact with the Director, QA & Compliance to effectively convey quality related issues, concerns and questions
  • Understanding and experience with automated testing tools, preferred.
