Sr.SAP PP - Production Planning

Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PP solutions to support production planning and execution processes.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
3. Configure and customize SAP PP functionalities, including material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
4. Design and implement production planning strategies, including make-to-order (MTO), make-to-stock (MTS), and engineer-to-order (ETO) scenarios.
5. Provide expertise in integrating SAP PP with other SAP modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP QM (Quality Management), and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).
6. Develop and execute test plans, conduct system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP PP solutions.
7. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP systems, including troubleshooting issues and resolving tickets in a timely manner.
8. Lead and mentor junior SAP PP consultants, providing guidance and expertise in SAP PP best practices.
9. Stay updated on the latest SAP PP trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing processes and systems.
10. Work closely with project managers and business analysts to ensure successful delivery of SAP PP projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
2. X years of experience in SAP PP implementation and support, with a focus on configuration and customization.
3. In-depth knowledge of SAP PP functionalities, including master data management, production planning strategies, and production order processing.
4. Experience with SAP PP integration with other SAP modules such as SAP MM, SAP QM, and SAP SD.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP PP issues.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. SAP certification in Production Planning (PP) is highly desirable.
8. Experience in leading SAP PP projects from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
9. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration is a plus.
